Apostle Dr. Joyce Yvette Lemmon
Beginning her Christian journey at the age of 3,
Apostle Dr. Joyce Yvette Lemmon answered the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus
Christ on October 4, 1989 under the leadership of the late Elder Edward McCall
and was later ordained to the office of Elder in September 1992. During her
tenure at the St. Paul Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Apostle Lemmon
served in many leadership capacities that would prepare her for what God had
for her in the future.
As she continued to serve at St. Paul, the Lord
spoke to Apostle Lemmon concerning the birthing of a ministry designed to be a
dwelling place for those who needed to be set free, rescued and liberated
through the hearing of the Word of God. Submitting to the will of her Father
the Deliverance Tabernacle Church of Christ was born on October 4, 1996 and
Apostle Lemmon was consecrated to the office of Senior Pastor/Overseer by her
pastors Apostles Martin and Michelle Johnson in October 1999.

ministry through the establishing of the “ Vision of Praise and Vision of
Praise II praise dancers, the Deliverance Tabernacle Steppers, the Deliverance
Music and Youth Ministries, M.O.M (Men's Outreach Ministry) and R.E.A.C.H.
Women’s Ministry. Our
newest venture is the establishing of the Deliverance Tabernacle Bible
Institute,
where Apostle Lemmon is
President/Spiritual
Advisor.
This school is open to all to come and learn more about the Word of God. In addition, the ministry has been blessed to
fulfill various needs of our youth within the community.
Continuing to preach the Gospel and adhering to will of her Father, Apostle

Bachelors of Theology Degree on Saturday, May 19, 2001 from the Lighthouse
Christian College; she was affirmed to the office of the Apostle by her pastors

and Michael Brandon. She is also blessed
